PERFECT SUNDAY LUNCH
We thoroughly enjoyed our Sunday in this beautiful traditional English thatched cottage restaurant. Our Roast Lamb was cooked to perfection. Vegetables & crispy roast potatoes were served on the side. Our tender, thinly sliced lamb was served with a generous amount of delicious gravy. The coffee was a perfect way to finish our meal. Staff were friendly & helpful - thank you Marilyn for making us feel welcome! Whether you are single, a couple or in a small group, this is a special venue for those looking for a traditional restaurant with a homely ambience & great menu.
DELIGHTFUL CHARMING RESTAURANT IN GOOD LOCATION SERVING SUPERB FOOD
Have eaten here in the past this time to celebrate my lady friends birthday this really is a great restaurant very cosy and intimate ideal for couples or a get together for family and friends the style of serving is quiet laid back but very efficient owner Paul produces some superb food that I find impossible to fault . On this occasion we both had king scallops served with garlic sauce and cheese followed by beef medallions with a superb sauce and great selection of vegetables folks for me it does not get any better than that just great ! A short walk from the centre of Ringwood, give yourself a treat if you are in the area serves lunchtime and evening 12.00-14.30 &18.30-22.00
IF I WAS A CAT I WOULD HAVE PURRED ALL NIGHT
The food was superb. It is rare to find French onion soup on the menu. Even rarer to find one of such quality. The steak was soft and succulent. The sauce of the veal escalope was delectable. The lamb shank fell off the bone. The vegetables were lovely. I cannot recommend this great value eating experience enough. The staff were friendly and very helpful. What a lovely dining experience.
THE FOOD WAS AMAZING...
We popped in after a walk around Ringwood to a really warm welcome, nothing seemed to much trouble. The food was AMAZING all home made and generous portions. This is one of the best restaurants we have been to in a long time. Thank you for a wonderful anniversary xxx
